V8 trike project for sale

Post by King Herald »

I started building this a few years ago, but I was diagnosed with motor neurone disease last year and I’ve realised it’s never going to be finished. Not by me anyway.

So, 350 Chevy, four bolt mains, roller cam, alloy heads. It’s apparently a Real Steel supplied motor with low mileage. The guy I bought it off had put it in a kit car, then abandoned the project.

Powerglide gearbox, th350 main shaft, electric trans brake on reverse gear. Real Steel torque converter and flex plate. Kevlar bands, apparently rebuilt by someone on this group, but I can’t remember the name.

Jag rear end, narrowed professionally.

10 x 15 wheels and tyres, brand new.

Four stainless silencers, piped in.

Rear radiator, with plumbing. Battery. Brand new mini starter. HEI dizzy.

Couple of four barrel carbs. And a 38dgas on a home made adapter plate I intended using for MSVA.

Loads of bits and pieces.

I need to sell it in one lot, I haven’t got the strength or energy to strip it down and sell random parts. Buy it for parts, scrap the frame, build a hot rod, I don’t mind what you do with it, I’m clearing all my stuff out and need it gone ready for ‘that day’, when it comes.

I’m asking just £2500 for it, which is a what I paid for the engine and gearbox alone, but I need it gone.

Collection only, near J14 on M6, Stafford

There’s more pics on the build thread somewhere on the forum.

Sorry to hear of your worsening health and it’s a shame you can’t finish it especially after all the work you’ve put into getting it this far.

Yes, I put my heart and soul into it, and loads of money. I’ve taken a deposit it now, sold for a fraction of what it cost to build, but I need to clear things out.

Well keep in touch KH, it's a bummer getting old. Don't just disappear as its good to chat even if your not on trikes or bikes.
I remember chatting when we were on the old BMW forum years ago. I did meet up with a few of the from there and now have no way to get in touch with any of them.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Yes mate, I shall keep popping in for a nose. I still have a bike, but not sure how long for, my left hand is getting very weak, might end up on an automatic bike, or even a scooter……

Those Bergman m/bikes are very nippy, and you could always customise one :)
