Cumbria…Trike Service, Repairs & MoT??

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone can please point me in the right direction for anyone in Cumbria that services, maintains and can do MOT’s on a HD Freewheeler or any other trike for that matter.

I’ve scoured the net to no avail but hopefully someone will be able to help me out.

According to the HOG website there’s a dealership in Gateshead, have you tried giving them a call?

Gateshead was my number one option however they have just shut down, my number 2 option was Edinburgh HD however they have also just closed up shop! Not sure what’s going on with HD dealerships, hence I thought there might be others in and around Cumbria? My only other options are Glasgow or Leeds…

Look around for independent bike workshops, there should be some around your area who will work on Harleys. As for mot just ask at the local bike mot place , they should know who does it in the local area. When I got my first trike I just went to my local dealer and he told me where to go for trike mot.

Thanks Deep Diver; I have put the feelers out and so far out of 5 independent garages none want to touch trikes. I will keep searching and thanks for the advice
