Is garage a must have?

Post by mikeTriker »

Hi. I need advice on the trike insurance. Is there a company that insures a vehicle with no need to store it in the garage? Thank you.

There will be if you cough for the increased premiums and/or anti theft devices!

https://www.feelgooduk.net/products/mot ... for-trikes

I use one of theses, the cover only last a few years but is easily replaced. I have it bolted down on concrete and a bike lock set in it to chain the trike down
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

And what insurer has accepted it like this if I may ask?

I'm with Carol Nash, Its on the front area as no access to the rear. Also have a camera on the front.

I’ve just insured my two bikes with Carole Nash, I told them one lives in a locked garage, the other lives on the drive. They had no problem with that.

There’s not enough room in the garage for two as I’m building me trike in there.

That is likely possible with the bike. It would be a great convenience to me if with the trike too :/
I would pay voluntarily an even higher annual premium.
