Replaced the anti roll bar bushes - it's got 2 bars, mk6/7 Transit bushes fit one and I ended up with bushes from a Daewoo Nubira (not a car I've heard of) because I can't find what the second bar is from but they fit.

Whilst going over the trike for it's MOT in a couple of months I noticed a very small lightly polished patch on the trailing arms. There's no play in the bushes or bearings and when the tyres do touch it's so lightly it's leaving absolutely no marks on the them so maybe the new ones (the same make/model/size as the old ones) have slightly higher raised moulded writing on the sidewalls? Or they've changed and the new tyre's sidewalls flex a bit more?
Anyway, rather than taking a tyre buff to the writing I think a better fix is the 3mm steel spacers I've bought.

Previously when the wheels were off I noticed both offside cv joint boots had little splits so bought 4 to do both sides when fitting the spacers. It's a sod of a job and I was dead lucky that the other side (replaced in 2014) still looks like new so left it well alone :)
Adjusted the handbrake, it worked at the last mot but since the tester reckoned the lever travel was a bit much I thought I'd better do something about it before the next one.
Fingers crossed the trike's all ready for the mot now.

Tried to take Misty for an MoT last Tuesday - got 2 miles and oil pipe burst between gearbox & oil cooler. Bummer. Tow truck back. Awaiting oil pipes fixing & see if all is still ok

Strictly speaking this isn't something I've done today but it did arrive today and will be put on later this year. The unopened box contains a big shiny chromed air filter but a coat of matt black'll soon fix that (and the inlet manifold) and hopefully it'll cover the carb from view because I reckon painting that could be a bit more tricky - a shroud or skirt on the bottom air filter plate to hide it sounds like a better solution.

Looks like same Edelbrock 4 barrel I have on Misty Blue m8. Great piece of kit. Much better than the fire spitting Holley that was on it before
