Just copied this off an FB trike page posted by Alain Rowlands :-
As the season is beginning and I see this idiot is still selling trikes on Ebay I thought it prudent to share this again.
WARNING!!!!!
DO NOT buy a trike from a guy called Ralph Bromhead (Ralph B Lancer on FB) from Nottingham. I bought one recently and it had serious faults that would have cause a major accident or death. It was supposed to be a professionally built trike. I'm disabled and wanted a turnkey trike, this I was assured was it
Faults include;
. Broken suspension that had been painted over and disguised, you can see from the pictures how badly it was cracked and corroded.
. Rear brake had no adjustment so I could not ride until I changed the footboards.
. Back brakes with air & water in the system, master cylinder had to be replaced. Pedal was solid I only found they didn't operate the brakes when I rode it!
. Rear wiring over seat strut, seat would have cut through them.
. Wiring twisted and taped together and 3 core household wire, like you have on a kettle!!
. Oil was like tar, plugs black, oil filter and air filter had to be replaced.
Ralph refuses to discuss or respond to messages. He sells these trikes on eBay and has them made by Yorkshire Trikes in Wakefield.
I have spent more money and hours repairing these faults. I was lucky, I'd hate to see someone killed by this guy.

Re: FB warning post
Here is the latest ebay trike the guy is referring to - although seller feedback is 100% - but that can be meaningless as we know all too well

Note - I am merely passing this info on. I have no knowledge of either guy in question. Somebody on here may know more - if so, please comment accordingly

I was just looking at the date and missed the year. Got all excited that something looked new.
