Hi all .I'm thinking of changing the front end of trike to a wider one ,fatter tyre etc .obviously I'll need to change yokes ,forks etc .any suggestions out there on how to go about it any straight swaps etc ? .

There are comparison tables on the interweb showing what size bearings different bike forks have, inside and outside diameter etc. You can use it to calculate if a set of forks will be a bolt in job. Otherwise you might have to start machining up the the yoke spindle.

My old Yam SR500, I fitted a Honda 250 dirt bike front end, worked out which bearings to order that fitted both the forks, and the steering head, and it just slipped into place without a problem.

Be aware that changing the offset on the yokes will change the trail too.
