Re: Front end
Hi Barneyb, your front end is GS1000, similar to XS750 but the wheel on yours has cast star pattern spokes, the XS has straight cast spokes. Just picked up an XS750 trike project & the front of mine has the straight cast pattern. Checked some images of GS1000 & it certainly looks like it's what you have. Bob.
Some mornings it's just not worth chewing through the restraints!

Re: Front end
That is a Suzuki wheel, I had the GS650 with them fitted.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

Re: Front end
Thanks guys, wanted to replace the mudguard with a fiberglass one but might be out of luck, will see if I can get the original sandblasted, chrome removed and painted up.

Re: Front end
That pattern wheel also used on GSX models so could be from there also. Unfortunately these legs ain't the strongest and the muddy has a brace within so if swapping to GRP you'll need an additional brace - used to be normal in the 80's but may struggle to find one now!
