Hi guys, I've been a custom bike builder for years and I'm planning my first trike conversion.
Can you advise me on the best axle to get for a Honda cx500c conversion.
I intend to have a single seat, short low trike with a narrowed axle and extra wide wheels, preferably 15 inch wheels with 70 to 90 sidewalls. I'm planning on off setting the diff to line up with the engine drive and having 10inch wide to 12 inch wide deep dish 15 inch wheels, so axle will need considerable narrowing on the off side and narrowing on the near side to give me an overall beam of about 4ft to 4ft six.
I'm constructing a monoshock frame too.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The good thing about the CX500 is that the drive comes out the right hand side, so you don't have to do the trick of turning the axle upside down to get it going in the right direction.Davey the punk wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 12:30 pm The cx5oo trike I had a few year ago used a reliant axle worked fine
