Honda cx500 Custom electric fan fitting

Hiya,

Recently bought this trike and have found that it has a mechanical fan operated on the camshaft. Am thinking of doing a conversion to an electric fan but am also thinking that it may be a bit much for my knowledge!

Does anyone know of anyone in the Lancashire area who may be able to do this work for me? I know people who want to work on trikes are few and far between and the ones that do seem to get booked up months in advance. Wanting to get this done sooner rather than later really.

Wouldn’t mind, the front end of this trike is still the original Honda CX500 CB custom so anyone worth their salt with motorbikes would be able to do it! It just seems that a lot don’t like touching them when they have a reliant back end!!!!

I also run a cx500 trike still has the standard fan never had a problem with cooling even in the recent hot weather
